What Kirk House Media does with your information.
Plain English, no legal padding. If anything here is unclear, email and ask.
The short version
Kirk House Media collects two things. What you type into a form, and data about how people use this site.
None of it is sold, and nobody is added to a marketing list without asking.
Some of that data reaches Google and Meta, because this site uses their analytics and advertising tools. The sections below say what each one does.
What you send through a form
The contact form and the review form ask for your name and email address. On the contact form, your business, website and message are optional.
On the review form the website address is required, because it is the thing being reviewed.
Both forms are delivered by a service called Web3Forms. It passes the message straight to the Kirk House Media inbox, so the site can send email without running a server of its own.
Those emails are kept so the conversation can carry on. You are not added to a mailing list, and your details go no further than Web3Forms and the email provider that carries the message.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser to do that.
It reports things like how many people arrived from a Google search and which pages they opened.
Kirk House Media cannot see who you are in that data. Google processes it under its own terms, which are published on its policy pages.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out everywhere. Most browsers also let you block cookies directly.
Advertising
This site carries the Meta pixel, the tracking tool used by Facebook and Instagram.
It reports when someone who arrived from an ad goes on to make contact. It also allows ads to be shown to people who have visited this site before.
It sets cookies. It can associate your visit with your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. That is how the tool works, and it is better said plainly than buried.
You can limit this. Facebook and Instagram both have ad settings covering how your activity off their apps is used. Blocking third-party cookies stops it too.
There are still no accounts to create here, no passwords stored and no payments taken.
Selling your information
Kirk House Media never sells, rents or trades your information. There is no scenario in which that happens.
Links to other sites
This site links out to a small number of other websites, including the client work Kirk House Media has built.
Once you follow a link you are on somebody else’s site, under their policy, not this one.
Getting your details removed
Email and ask. Any messages held from you are deleted, and you get confirmation when it is done.
No reason needed, and it costs nothing.
Changes to this policy
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date at the top.
It will not be quietly broadened in the hope that nobody rereads it.
